At Camp Storybook, summer days are filled with imagination, creativity, and hands-on discovery.
Each week is thoughtfully designed around a unique theme, where children enjoy storybook-inspired experiences, daily art studio time, music, outdoor exploration, and meaningful, hands-on learning—all in the cozy, magical setting of Storybook Cottage.
Our camp blends creative play, self-expression, and gentle academics to create a summer children love and parents feel confident about.

Each week invites children into a new imaginative world inspired by beloved stories, characters, and creative adventures.
🎨 Art Studio & Creative Exploration
Children engage in daily art studio experiences, music, movement, and imaginative play—encouraging creativity, self-expression, and confidence in a process-based, no-pressure environment.
📚 Literacy Through Play
Through read-alouds, storytelling, puppetry, and book-inspired activities, children build a natural love for language and reading.
🌿 Outdoor Nature Experiences
Our spacious outdoor environment invites children to explore gardens, engage in open-ended play, and connect with nature in meaningful ways.
🏡 Small Groups, Meaningful Connections
With intentionally small group sizes, each child is known, supported, and given the space to thrive.
A Typical Day at Camp Storybook
Each day follows a gentle, engaging rhythm designed to balance creativity, exploration, and connection:
• Morning gathering & storytime
• Art studio experiences, music, and hands-on projects
• Outdoor play & nature exploration
• Lunch (from home) followed by a rest/reset time with stories and quiet reading
• Afternoon creative stations, games, and open-ended play
Activities are thoughtfully adapted for both younger and older campers.

Times: Half Day (9 to 12) Full Day (9 to 2)

Summer Theme Weeks
June Themes (4 Weeks)
Week 1: Friendship Celebration
A gentle, cozy introduction to camp life. Children make new friends, explore the cottage and backyard, meet Goldie the Goose, and ease into routines through favorite comfort stories and creative play. Make friendship bracelets and paint kindness rocks, and more!
Week 2: Fairy Tales & Magical Friends
Castles, crowns, dragons, and happily-ever-afters! Children dive into classic fairy tales through dress-up, storytelling, art, and imaginative play.
Week 3: Once Upon a Garden
Stories of seeds, bugs, and growing things inspire nature art, gardening fun, sensory play, and outdoor exploration in our backyard.
Week 4: Animal Tales & Wild Friends
From farm animals to jungle creatures, children explore animal stories through movement games, art, music, and dramatic play.

July Themes (4 Weeks)
Week 5: Under the Sea Adventures
Dive into ocean stories filled with fish, boats, and mermaids. Sensory water play, colorful art, and imaginative ocean adventures fill the week.
Week 6: Dinosaur Days
A roaring favorite! Children explore dinosaur stories through fossil digs, creative art, movement games, and prehistoric pretend play.
Week 7: Space, Stars & Moonbeams
Blast off into space with rocket building, planet art, star stories, and music inspired by the night sky.
Week 8: Goldie’s Magical Treasure Hunt
Goldie the Goose leads children on a week-long adventure full of clues, maps, teamwork, surprises, and storytelling—ending the summer with joy and celebration.
