Goldie’s Scholars at Storybook Cottage
Goldie’s Scholars is our 3-day, literacy-rich cottage-style microschool for early learners ages 3–6. Children learn in small learning pods using a structured, award-winning curriculum blended with Montessori-inspired, hands-on experiences that nurture creativity, independence, and a love of learning.
Guided by our mascot, Goldie the Goose, students explore reading, art, music, and joyful learning—discovering their own “golden potential.” Our program includes rotations through dedicated learning spaces and opportunities to engage in our outdoor garden classroom, making every day active, enriching, and meaningful.

Storybook Cottage Children’s School offers a warm, nurturing space for children ages 3 to 6, located in a cozy cottage setting. Our approach helps children develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning during the most important early years.
With small class sizes and individualized guidance, each child is supported at their own pace and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Goldie's Scholars
Goldie’s Scholars is our 3-day, literacy-rich cottage-style microschool serving early learners ages 3–6 (Preschool–Kindergarten). Our program blends a structured, award-winning curriculum with Montessori-inspired, hands-on learning, creating a nurturing environment where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Students progress through a cohesive primary preschool program, building strong reading, writing, early math, and problem-solving skills while developing independence, confidence, and a love of learning. Our Kindergarten experience emphasizes leadership, responsibility, and critical thinking, preparing children for a confident transition into higher grades.
We also offer homeschool support, allowing children to enrich their homeschool program with small-group learning, hands-on activities, and access to classroom rotations, including music, art, and outdoor learning.

We have a music hall, art studio, library, and an outside nature play yard that includes a garden area with a worm farm! We rotate in our small groups during our day to each area of the cottage and grounds.

We provide homeschool support with flexible 2–5 day options, along with before and after school care to support your family’s schedule.

Q: What ages and grades do you serve?
A: We serve children from Pre-K 3 & 4 through Kindergarten in small learning pods. The Bunnies, Foxes, Owls, and Bears!

A: We offer a 3-day school day experience from 9am - 2pm on Tue|Wed|Thu with optional full day experience from 8am - 3pm and an extended day experience from 7:30am - 4:30pm. We operate August - May with Summer Camps available when school is out.

A: Absolutely. Each day includes rotations through our Music Room, Art Room, Library, Main Classroom, and Outdoor Discovery Garden, making learning hands-on, engaging, and fun.
