Goldie’s Golden Hour provides gentle, enriching care before and after the school day — giving families flexibility while maintaining the calm, storybook atmosphere children love.

This is not a separate program, but an extension of the Storybook Cottage day, thoughtfully designed to feel relaxed, creative, and unhurried.

 

What is Goldie's Golden Hour?

Goldie’s Golden Hour offers before care, after care, or both, exclusively for children enrolled in Goldie’s Scholars or Camp Storybook.

Children enjoy:

  • Cozy morning arrivals and soft starts to the day

  • Calm transitions after school or camp

  • Storytime, creative play, and outdoor exploration

  • Familiar teachers and classmates

No rushing. No overstimulation. Just extra time in a place that feels like home.

Daily Rhythm

Morning Golden Hour

A peaceful start with:
• Quiet play and table activities
• Books, puzzles, and open-ended materials
• Outdoor time when weather allows

Afternoon Golden Hour

A gentle wind-down with:
• Art and creative stations
• Outdoor nature play
• Storytime and games
• Space to relax and reset

Enrollment & Tuition

Goldie’s Golden Hour is available as an add-on for enrolled families.

Tuition varies based on:

  • Number of days attended

  • Before care, after care, or both

👉 Families can select Golden Hour options during enrollment or add later if space allows.

Cost is $5 per hour for each day attending.
