Goldie’s Scholars is our Montessori-inspired primary classroom at Storybook Cottage, where children learn through hands-on experiences, creativity, and exploration. Guided by our mascot Goldie the Goose, students discover their “golden potential” through reading, art, music, and joyful learning. We are a state licensed center and have 4 openings for the current school year.
ENROLLMENT SPECIAL
20% off tuition for NEW Families who come take a tour and enrolls into the current school year program.
50% off registration fees that are already prorated for the school year.
REFERRAL FEE- As a thank you for helping us grow, we are giving a $100 tuition credit for any families who refer a family that joins our school family.

Storybook Cottage Children’s School offers a warm, nurturing Primary classroom for children ages 3 to 6, located in a cozy cottage setting. Our Montessori-inspired approach helps children develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning during the most important early years.
With small class sizes and individualized guidance, each child is supported at their own pace and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
A Complete Primary Program Including Kindergarten
Our Montessori-inspired Primary classroom includes Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten as part of a continuous three-year learning cycle, based on the philosophy of Maria Montessori.
The Kindergarten year is a special leadership year, where children strengthen their reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills while developing confidence and responsibility. By the time children complete our program, they are fully prepared and confident for a successful transition into 1st grade.

Montessori-inspired
We provide a Montessori-inspired learning environment for children age 3 to 6. Classes are offered half-day (8:30am-Noon) or full-day (8:30am-3:30pm). Need extended day hours? No problem, we have a before and after school program offered for those families that need it between 7am and 6pm. Choose 2 to 5 day attendance.
Enrichment activities
We have a music room, art room, library, and an outside nature play yard. We rotate in our small groups during our day to each area of the cottage.
Flexible scheduling
We also offer 2 to 5 day options and a before and after school program for those needing it. Program offered M-F from 7 to 6.

Goldie's Scholars
Goldie’s Scholars is our Montessori-inspired children’s school's primary class for ages 3 to 6. Children rotate through reading, art, music, and outdoor play, developing confidence, independence, and academic skills in a warm, supportive environment. Tuition includes a hot nutritional catered meal by Kidz Caters in Southlake. We also offer the option of bi-weekly and weekly payments. Current Special is 20% off the current rates for Spring enrollment start and 10% for Summer and Fall enrollment start.

Optional Add-On: Goldie's Golden Hour (Before & After Care)
Extend your child’s day with Goldie’s Golden Hour, available before and/or after school for children enrolled in Goldie’s Scholars. Our teaching team provides nurturing care, creative activities, and supervised play.
Cost is $5 per hour for each day attending. Before care is from 7am until 8:30am and after care is from 3:30pm until 6pm.

Our Curriculum
At Goldie’s Scholars, our Montessori-inspired curriculum nurtures creativity, independence, and a love of learning.
Our approach balances academic growth, creative exploration, and social-emotional development in a small, supportive classroom environment. We educate the whole child with many children well prepared to enter elementary grades.
Each day children rotate between academic area blocks, learning centers, enrichment rooms and an outdoor discovery yard.
