At Storybook Cottage, learning begins with stories and grows through meaningful experiences, strong relationships, hands-on discovery, and individualized instruction.

Our Storybook-Inspired Cottage Learning approach combines strong academic foundations with literature, creativity, enrichment, nature, music, art, and the wonder of childhood. Children learn in a warm, cozy environment where they are known, valued, and encouraged to grow with confidence.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we provide small-group instruction and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support each child’s academic, social, emotional, and creative growth.

Learning Across Every Level

Little Bears Preschool

Our youngest learners build early foundations through stories, play, sensory experiences, music, movement, art, and hands-on exploration. Children develop independence, communication skills, early literacy, beginning math concepts, and a positive relationship with school.

Goldie’s Scholars Pre-K

Pre-K students strengthen kindergarten-readiness skills through early reading, phonics, writing, math exploration, science investigations, literature-based themes, creative projects, and small-group instruction.

Goldie’s Scholars Academy Kindergarten

Kindergarten students receive a strong academic foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Learning is brought to life through books, enrichment areas, hands-on experiences, creative expression, and meaningful projects.

Goldie’s Scholars Academy First Grade

First Grade students continue building reading fluency, comprehension, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies skills in a nurturing small-school environment. Individualized support, inquiry, leadership opportunities, and hands-on learning help children become confident and independent learners.
